Office 365 comes with terabytes of personal and shared storage. Yet while storage space may not be an issue, you might need help with data management to get the most from your Office 365 investment. EXP can help you design and implement your online storage methodology for greater efficiency and performance. The following is a brief guide on where to put your business data.
Over the last 2-3 years we have seen an exponential increase in cyber security attacks among our clients. Virtually all businesses in all industries are at risk – it’s not just big business anymore! We have developed a simple program for all our clients to assess their current risk and reduce the risk of falling victim to an attack, while being cognizant of the costs.

EXP Technical is proud to have been the primary IT partner for Stratolaunch over the last 2 years. 4/13/2019 was an exciting day and the EXP staff were onsite at the Mission control center in Mojave to support the inaugural flight! Congratulations to Stratolaunch and kudos to all the EXP team who worked on the account!
In my first post on this topic, I highlighted some excellent yet overlooked apps and add-ins for Office 365. Since there are so many, here’s another subjective selection of underappreciated gems that can help you be more productive.
Here are three facts all business owners and employees must know:
1. U.S. businesses are the top targets of cyber attacks worldwide;
2. The frequency and ferocity of cyber attacks will continue to rise in 2019;
3. Employees are the weakest link in most businesses’ IT security programs.
To help prevent such an attack on your company, EXP is hosted a Security Awareness Training for business owners and employees.
Stratolaunch Systems Corporation is a space transportation venture launched in 2011 by Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen. The company’s goal is to make space launch more reliable, affordable, and accessible.
In April 2017, an affiliate company, Allen’s Vulcan Aerospace formally separated from Vulcan, Inc. and was merged into Stratolaunch Systems Corporation. The combined company needed to separate its systems from Vulcan for regulatory compliance reasons. This meant creating an entirely new IT infrastructure robust and secure enough to comply with the strictest security standards enforced for U.S. defense contractors — all in an extremely short time frame.
Stratolaunch chose EXP Technical to tackle this daunting task.
Though writing and enforcing policies and procedures is probably nobody’s favorite area of IT operations, it’s still a vital part of your business. While creating and following set policies is mandatory for government contractors and HIPAA covered entities, EXP takes it a step further. We recommend all companies and organizations maintain and enforce a basic package of policies and procedures that includes the following points…
The terms “backing up” and “disaster recovery” are sometimes used interchangeably when it comes to protecting your company’s data, yet there are major differences between the two processes. And understanding these differences can have big consequences for your business.
At EXP, we strongly believe in the web of protection that must exist to properly guard institutions and their data from these threats. This web is comprised of several things. Many of these are technological tools that keep threats from ever entering your environment, let alone being executed within it. Unfortunately, all the gates, checkpoints and filters cannot prevent human error\action – frequently the last stop on the cyberthreat train. Humans must be informed users of technology for our web of protection to remain whole.
